The main purpose of the bracket Weaver for Elk-9 (EST)

Bracket Weaver for Elk-9 (ECT) is used when setting the top Weaver rail for mounting optical or other attachments. The length of the top gun base is 121 mm and is sufficient for comfortable installation day or night optical sights, dot sights, thermal sights and other devices. Accordingly, the optics must be equipped with mounts standard weaver (Weaver) or Picatinny rail (Picatinny) 21 mm. the Bracket is made of structural steel and can be used on a weapon with a big impact. For corrosion protection, chemical and thermal effects of the powder gases rifle grease all surfaces are protected with hard oxide coating.

The mounting bracket is made for installation on a hunting carbine "Los-9", Moose-9-1", but it can also be installed in other weapons having an upper guide type "dovetail" with a width of from 8 to 11.5 mm and a sufficient length (distance between axes through-bolt fasteners is 93 mm). The bracket is monolithic, thus maintained its alignment with the barrel of the gun ensures optimum rigidity of the whole Assembly.
