The main purpose of base Weaver-12
Weaver base 12 is designed to mount an additional equipment on the shotgun 12-gauge with a trunk diameter from 19.5 mm to 22.5 mm, including a ventilated strap ("saiga-12", "Vepr-12"). Weaver's strap is made of steel and attached to the arms by circumference of the trunk by means of two tensioning bars.
